“You have a kid?”

Six years later, Wyatt stood in front of me, his eyes narrowing like a storm was brewing behind them.

“Who’s the father?”

“We broke up when I got pregnant,” I said casually.

“What a jerk. He never loved you,” Wyatt muttered.
