I looked at the man across from me, wondering why someone so handsome would be donating sperm. But it didn’t matter—I just wanted to buy some sperm, get pregnant, and fulfill my mother’s last wish.

He gave me a once-over, then smiled.

“I can give it to you for free, as long as you agree to sign a contract with me.”
