After her mother’s death, Ella is mistreated by her stepfamily, including her stepmother Diana and stepsister Vicky. Vicky pressures Ella into an unwanted marriage. Seeking solace in a bar, Ella meets Justin, a widower. Their one-night stand leads to Justin deciding to marry Ella to care for his son Bobby and their potential future children.
